Wiki Release: 2026.09.8 · UltimateRaids: 0.12.0 · Documentation branch: 1
Entry, lobbies, Ready and voting#
UltimateRaids has a full pre-match lobby system. This is especially important for public/minigame raids where players may arrive over time.
Joining#
Players use:
/raid join <raid>
The same queue path can be triggered by join NPCs, signs or external API integrations.
The lobby manager checks raid availability, requirements, cooldowns, capacity, group rules and the current runtime state before admitting the player.
Ready Join#
A raid can require players to explicitly become ready:
participation:
ready-join:
enabled: true
countdown: 15
require-all: false
Players toggle readiness with:
/raid ready
require-all: true requires every queued participant to be Ready before the Ready condition is satisfied. The countdown is the final transition before start.
Waiting rules#
ready-join.waiting controls behavior before the lobby is ready to start:
waiting:
minimum: 20
vote-after: 45
start-when-full: true
This lets a lobby wait a minimum amount of time, start immediately when full, or allow an early-start vote after the configured delay.
Early-start voting#
/raid vote start
/raid vote yes
/raid vote no
/raid vote status
The raid can configure vote duration, required percentage, minimum YES count, vote cooldown/retry and the countdown used after a successful vote. Casting YES also marks the voter Ready in the current implementation.
Persistent MINIGAME lobbies#
entry.mode: MINIGAME enables persistent/minigame behavior such as:
- persistent lobby;
- reopen after match finishes;
- automatic start;
- automatic Ready;
- concurrent match limit;
- reopen delay;
- join/lobby status displays.
A normal /uraid start <raid> does not force a MINIGAME match; the lifecycle is managed by the lobby system. Use /uraid start <raid> force only when you intentionally want to bypass normal minigame waiting.
Lobby displays#
The entry section can show periodic chat status, actionbar or bossbar status using placeholders such as state/player counts. Join NPC and lobby NPC hologram lines can show raid name, state, players, Ready count and actions.
Late join#
participation.allow-late-join determines whether a participant can enter after the runtime has already started. Keep it off for encounters whose stage state, kit snapshot or party composition should remain fixed.
