Wiki Release: 2026.09.8 · UltimateRaids: 0.12.0 · Documentation branch: 1
Participation modes, groups and raid parties#
UltimateRaids can run as solo content, public matchmaking, group content or competitive multi-group content.
Participation modes#
SOLO#
Designed for one player. Validation warns if a SOLO raid is configured with min/max values that imply a larger lobby.
PUBLIC#
Independent players join the same lobby and runtime.
GROUP#
Players are admitted through the selected group-provider. A group provider resolves membership and leader information.
COMPETITIVE#
Multiple groups can share the event. Providers may also expose SAME/ALLY/NEUTRAL/RIVAL relationships.
Group providers#
participation.group-provider selects the provider ID. Native providers include:
SOLOINTERNAL
modules.yml can prefer UCLANS before INTERNAL when the corresponding UltimateClans extension/provider is installed.
If a configured provider is not registered, /uraid validate reports it as an error.
Built-in raid parties#
Players can create temporary raid parties without an external clan/party plugin:
/raid party create
/raid party invite <player>
/raid party accept [party-uuid]
/raid party info
/raid party kick <player>
/raid party leave
/raid party disband
/raid party gui
The global party size limit comes from:
Config:
party:
max-members: 8
Only the party leader can perform leadership actions enforced by the party manager.
Leader-only queue#
participation.leader-only-queue is useful for GROUP content where one leader should queue the entire group instead of allowing members to create competing admission attempts.
Group limits#
min-groups / max-groups are separate from min-players / max-players. A raid can therefore require a certain number of clans/parties while still constraining total participants.
