Loot tables, rewards and scoring#

UltimateRaids has two complementary reward layers: direct raid/stage rewards and reusable loot tables.

Built-in reward types#

  • COMMAND
  • ITEM
  • EXPERIENCE
  • MESSAGE
  • MONEY
  • MONEY_PENALTY
  • LOOT_TABLE

External addons can register more reward processors.

Reward sections#

A raid can define:

  • participation
  • failure
  • completion
  • first-clear
  • top-damage
  • mvp

Stages/objectives may also have reward sections.

Scoring#

The bundled example scores damage, boss damage, healing, kills, objectives and deaths:

rewards:
  score:
    damage: 0.01
    boss-damage: 0.02
    healing: 0.01
    kills: 5
    objectives: 10
    deaths: -2

This score is used by ranking-style reward logic such as MVP/top damage where applicable.

Create a reusable loot table#

/uraid loot create crypt_boss

Then edit from the GUI:

/uraid loot gui

or edit YAML/path values:

/uraid loot edit crypt_boss <path> <value>

Other commands:

/uraid loot list
/uraid loot delete crypt_boss
/uraid loot reload

CHANCE vs WEIGHTED#

CHANCE#

Each entry has a percentage-like chance. Good for independent drops.

WEIGHTED#

Non-guaranteed entries have weights; rolls select among the weighted pool. The bundled example uses weights 60/30/10.

Loot tables also support:

  • rolls;
  • distribution: PERSONAL | SHARED;
  • allow-duplicates;
  • guaranteed;
  • unique;
  • one reward or multiple rewards per entry.

Example: personal boss loot#

id: boss_cache
selection: WEIGHTED
distribution: PERSONAL
rolls: 2
allow-duplicates: false
entries:
  trophy:
    guaranteed: true
    unique: true
    rewards:
      - type: ITEM
        provider: DEFAULT
        item: GOLD_INGOT
        amount: 2
  diamond:
    weight: 15
    unique: true
    reward:
      type: ITEM
      provider: DEFAULT
      item: DIAMOND
      amount: 2

Money rewards#

MONEY and MONEY_PENALTY require a registered economy provider (normally Vault via an extension). Validation warns when the configured provider is unavailable.
