UltimateClans V9 roles and permissions#

Two permission layers#

Bukkit permissions control whether a player can invoke a command. Clan-role permissions control whether the member's role may perform that clan action. Both can apply at the same time.

Role workflow#

Create/configure the intended clan roles, decide which actions are available to ordinary members/moderators/admins/leaders, then test promotion/demotion and role synchronization with non-OP accounts. Addons such as Bank, Chest, Guardian and others may expose their own role permissions.

Common mistake#

Giving uclans.player.* does not automatically mean every clan role should be able to withdraw money, edit settings or manage members. Keep command access and clan authority separate.
